MetaStrip

100% OFFLINE · NOTHING UPLOADS

Photos carry hidden data: the exact GPS coordinates where they were taken, the date, the camera, sometimes the owner's name. MetaStrip shows you what is in there, then gives you a clean copy with all of it removed.

Drop some photos to see what they are carrying.
How the cleaning works: the image is decoded and redrawn onto a fresh canvas, then re-encoded. Only the pixels survive that trip — every EXIF, GPS, IPTC and XMP block is left behind, because a canvas has nowhere to put them. It is not a filter over the metadata; the metadata simply does not exist in the new file.

Everything happens on your computer. No upload, no account, no network request of any kind. A single file you can keep on a USB stick and use forever.
